Losbeschreibung: 1819 Matron Head Cent. N-9. Rarity-1. Small Date. MS-63 BN (PCGS). This is an attractive and technically superior example that certainly flirts with near-Gem preservation in many respects. Uniform satiny luster blankets the smooth surfaces, complemented by a subtle mottling of steel blue and chestnut hues. A pair of tiny marks are well hidden below Liberty's ear lobe and a shallow bruise is noted on the obverse rim at 3 o'clock. Struck from well-worn die representative of Noyes Die State B/B.
