1854 Gold Dollar. Type II. MS-62 (PCGS). OGH. Sharply struck by the standards of this challenging design type, we even note emerging to bold detail in the centers. Lustrous medium gold surfaces are frosty in texture with faint traces of pinkish-apricot iridescence. The brief and relatively scarce Type II gold dollar of 1854 to 1856 is a significant find at all levels of Mint State preservation. PCGS# 7531. NGC ID: 25C3.
