1834 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-116. Rarity-1. Small Date, Small Letters. MS-64 (NGC). Splashes of sapphire-blue and olive paint the pearlescent surfaces of this delightful Choice specimen. The luster is uniform and satiny throughout, undisturbed by notable blemishes or remarkable friction. Peripheral softness seen at the stars and PLURIBUS is virtually diagnostic to this die pair, and the balance of design elements are largely bold and intricate.
