Lot Description

This handsome piece exhibits warm reddish-orange and, to a lesser extent, powder blue peripheral toning on the obverse. The reverse is more reserved in silver-gray, while full striking detail and smooth mint luster come readily to the fore on both sides. Visually appealing in a conditionally scarce survivor of this late date Peace dollar issue.
