Lot Description

1722 Wood's Hibernia Halfpenny. Martin 4.2-Bd.1, W-12755. Rarity-5. First Type, Harp at Left. AU-55 (PCGS). 125.6 grains. Medium to dark brown on the obverse and reverse with a sharp strike throughout. There is a minor planchet flaw through the center of the effigy into the right field, which is minor. Heavy reverse die crack from the rim to the tops of the 22 and beyond. Nice surfaces and attractive overall.
