Lot Description

1838 Classic Head Half Eagle. HM-1. Rarity-3. EF-45 (PCGS). The remaining level of design detail seems more indicative of an AU grade level. Most of the wear occurs on the higher points of Liberty's hair curls, and on the eagle's wing tips. Olive-green and peach colors are evident, and there are a few minor handling marks on the obverse.
