1865 Indian Cent. Fancy 5. MS-66 RD (NGC). CAC. Vivid golden-orange surfaces are fully lustrous with a smooth satin texture. The strike is sharp throughout and the eye appeal is simply outstanding. The 1865 is one of the highest mintage early date bronze Indian cents, with federal records providing a figure of 35,429,286 circulation strikes produced. Although available in an absolute sense, the 1865 is still conditionally challenging with Gem full Red examples anything but common in today's market.
