1853 Liberty Seated Quarter. Arrows and Rays. MS-64+ (PCGS). A handsome example of this popular one-year design type in the Liberty Seated quarter series, the left peripheries on both sides exhibit the boldest toning in steel gray and sandy-apricot. Satiny in texture with a razor sharp strike from the dies, this nicely preserved near-Gem comes highly recommended for inclusion in a Mint State type set. PCGS Population: 3; 36 finer (MS-67 finest).
