Lot Description
Lovely bullseye toning accents luminous surfaces. Concentric rings of royal blue, burnt orange and gold toning offset keenly struck design elements. A popular two-year-only type coin. This GEM would make a lovely addition to a high grade type set. Underrated in this lofty state of preservation. PCGS 27, NGC 20, CAC 5 Two pieces sold in February and November of 2017 for $1,293 and $1,320 respectively. A surprisingly hard to find coin with a CAC designation for the grade. In fact MS66 is the highest grade that has been awarded the coveted “green bean"! With Collectors Universe Price Guide showing this coin at just $1,500, the purchase of this lovely example could be the deal of the sale! Keep your hand up, you’ll be glad you did! Cert.
