136.9 grains. An ideal lower grade St. Patrick halfpenny with smooth, glossy surfaces and choice golden-brown color. Splasher is mostly on the crown and has a strong yellow color. Surprisingly bold definition for the grade, this sort of detail and quality is usually called VG or Fine for the type.
Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection. Earlier from our (American Numismatic Rarities') The Classics Sale, July 2003, lot 7; Jim LaSarre, December 2009.
