1821 Capped Bust Dime. JR-9. Rarity-2. Small Date. MS-62 (PCGS). Blended pewter-gray and golden-pink colors equally overlay each side. Sharply struck in all areas from lightly clashed dies. Although the JR-9 variety is considered to be common in circulated grades, it is evidently rare in Mint State as attested by the PCGS Population data.
