1822 Matron Head Cent. N-3. Rarity-2+. Noyes Die State B. AU-50 (PCGS). CAC. Handsome golden-brown on the obverse, matching on part of the reverse with the balance a trifle more brown. Scarce as a date and especially desirable in high grades, as these 1822 cents are tough to find without problems so well preserved. The strike is sharp and the surfaces are smooth and free of handling troubles or spots.
