1860 Liberty Seated Silver Dollar. Proof-62 (NGC). Blended golden-gray, silver-olive and reddish-apricot iridescence blankets both sides of this boldly defined and well mirrored specimen. Scarcer than a mintage of 1,330 Proofs might imply, many examples of this issue failed to sell to contemporary collectors and, as such, were lost to future generations of numismatists. PCGS# 7003.
