THE GEORGE SCHWENK COLLECTION A vibrantly lustrous and brilliantly satiny CHOICE 20-D nickel. A hint of the palest gold over wonderful nickel silver gives this well struck example a great look. There is an old toning spot visible under the Indian's chin. Sharply struck from clashed dies, traces of E PLURIBUS UNUM under the Indian's chin give him "whiskers." The eye appeal is wonderful and original. PCGS 129, NGC 65, CAC 13. This is the example that sold in May 2022 for $2,600, well above the published levels.
