Lot Description

Boldly mirrored fields flash and beam from all over. Exceptionally brilliant silver centers are framed by a blue, crimson, and gold toning at the obverse rim. The devices are crisply impressed and nicely frosted and displaying a nearly cameo like effect. Some old hairlines in the fields account for the assigned grade. Only 710 were struck. PCGS 42, NGC 31, CAC 3. The last PR63 to sell in auction was an NGC coin that sold in April 2012 for $1,495--the last PCGS coin sold in September 2010.
