From the Premier Barber Collection. Ex Duckor. We cannot believe the monster colors. Using the scale for the Morgan Toners, this coin would be a full 9++! We have only ever seen a few higher-grade pieces with similar colors. The quality is also SUPER HIGH END! Remarkable surfaces are perfect and have a semi satiny texture. Only a microscopic tick keeps this coin fro being a full MS67+. Even if it were to MS67, we would still love it. A really strong luster beams from all over. A head spinning circular color mix of totally original green/blue/lime/pale violet./tangerine colors open into light gold centers. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is UNBELIEVABLE! PCGS 6, NGC 2, CAC 3. This coin brought $18,976 in the August 2009 sale of the Duckor Collection. A MONSTER colored GEM like this should easily beat the current Collector’s Universe value of $20,000.
