Lot Description

The Crimson Collection. Overton-129 (R.5), the "Second S in STATES over D" variety that somehow fails to have its own entry in the Redbook. A low-contrast example, this PCGS Fine specimen displays a modicum of internal detailing within Liberty's hair as well as complete rims on both sides, but the eagle's motif has been worn hopelessly flat. A scratch through "C" of AMERICA requires mention.
