Lot Description

Rather glossy chocolate and light olive brown. No marks but the surfaces are covered with extremely faint roughness and there are traces of shallow verdigris in a few of the protected areas around the eagle. Nicely struck and properly centered on the planchet. The date and legends are all bold. Later die state with a clear "horn" (die break) extending up from the top of the eagle's head.
