Lot Description

1799 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. BB-161, B-11. Rarity-3. AU-55 (NGC). An original Choice AU with ample sharpness of strike, both sides are toned in variegated shades of multicolored iridescence mixed with dove-gray. With hardly any worrisome abrasions - a mark near the junction of Liberty's neck and bust is noted - and glints of frosty luster shining forth at more direct angles, this is clearly a superior-quality early Bust dollar at the upper reaches of circulated condition.
