THE GEORGE SCHWENK COLLECTION This variety was created when the obverse and reverse die came together without a blank planchet between them, and the E from E PLURIBUS UNUM on the reverse found itself imprinted on the obverse within the drapery off of Liberty's right knee. The bold luster accents nicely struck devices and a soft iridescent patina. Among the FINEST graded of this variety at PCGS. PCGS 3, NGC 0. Unpriced at PCGS, in MS63+ the PCGS Price Guide value is $275.
