Lot Description

1880 Liberty Seated Dime. Fortin-103. Rarity-5. EF-45 (PCGS). Well struck with primary pale gray toning, and noticeable elements of mint-green and pastel rose on the reverse. An isolated patch of charcoal coloration resides near 1 o'clock on the upper reverse periphery. This is the scarcest of four die varieties identified by Gerry Fortin for the date. PCGS# 4688.
