- 1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 6.1-M, W-2820. Rarity-1. Mailed Bust Left, Laughing Head. VF-25 (PCGS). OGH. The old style PCGS insert does not denote the Laughing Head Guide Book variety on the insert. Uniformly microgranular deep chocolate brown surfaces, as is often the case for planchet quality for this Laughing Head variety. Nicely centered on both sides, the reverse die rotated to about 225 degrees or so, devices fairly strong, no heavy marks on either side. An amply pleasing example of the grade and variety combination. PCGS# 358.
