- Lot 63 1809/9 C-5 R1 NGC graded AU55.Frosty medium chocolate brown and steel. Smooth and attractive with mint state eye appeal but there is a trace of friction on the devices. No marks or other defects, just a bit dirty. Needs a proper bath and brushing to uncover the luster. LDS, Manley state 3.0. The small lump under the second A in AMERICA is gone but the repunching at the bottom of the 9 is still visible (sometimes called a 9 over 6 overdate). Our grade is EF45 (perhaps a bit better after that bath). Estimated Value $500 - UP Ex eBay-Raymond Gatzke Collection.
