1860 Indian Cent. Proof-63 (PCGS). Quite well struck and attractively toned in ruddy gold on both sides, this is a rather high quality survivor of an issue that was not particularly well made. With a near absence of collectible Gem coins, demand increases for eye appealing Choice Proof specimens as here, and it is clear from the pedigree that this specimen was tightly held for the last 30 years!
