A lovely GEM Proof Seated half dollar. Crisp, watery mirrors flash in a light. The obverse is toned a delightful combination of pale shades of blue, violet, red, and gold; the reverse features a more prominent deep blue at the center transitioning to russet at the rims. An attractive and pleasing high grade example from a proof mintage of 1,039. PCGS 37, NGC 40. The last NGC PF65 sold at auction brought $2,040 in September 2018 and the current Collectors Universe value is $2,500. A handsome coin for the collector of proof Seated type. Cert.
