1802/1 Capped Bust Right Half Eagle. BD-1. Rarity-4+. AU-55 (PCGS). A well struck, lustrous example of this early half eagle issue, with an obvious overdate feature, as a previous 1 is clearly evident below the 2 in the date. The rich olive-gold toning yields to red-orange peripheral accents on each side. There are no marks or abrasions worthy of singular mention. PCGS# 8083.
