Lot Description

1787 Fugio Copper. Pointed Rays. Newman 15-Y, W-6915. URS-10. STATES UNITED, 8-Pointed Star on Label. VF-35 (PCGS). CAC. Hard, smooth surfaces with no pitting and only minor flan flaws that require a loupe to discern. As well, we see no significant abrasions, and there is only minor variation to the dominant medium brown toning, much of which is confined to the reverse. The strike is expertly centered, and overall bold definition includes a sharp, clear star on the reverse label. A lovely Choice VF to represent this desirable <em>Guide Book </em>variety.
