1831 Capped Bust Half Dime. LM-6, V-1. Rarity-1. MS-65 (PCGS). With a razor-sharp strike and no outwardly noticeable abrasions, this coin is seemingly earmarked for inclusion in a Gem type set. Deep charcoal-gray patina throughout, direct angles do call forth warmer undertones of pale-gold and blue-gray shades.
