- Lot Description
- 347 in VG-10 and 2,364 higher at NGC. Ever-popular with collectors, the 1922 No D is the only business strike Lincoln cent that lacks its intended mint mark. Estimated to have less than 15,000 survivors in all grades, this wonderful error, likely caused by a pair of dies clashing, is represented in this lot by a wholesome collector grade example of VG-10 BN that has wonderful original surfaces and color. The Strong Reverse variety, this lot would make a wonderful addition to any Lincoln cent or error collection (ls).
