Lot Description

Here is a superbly attractive specimen of this ubiquitous New Jersey Copper variety. Surfaces are a glossy, uniform mahogany, with nary a flaw to mention. About 75% of the variety's distinctive, wedge-shaped denticles are visible on either side, as this coin is relatively well centered for this small planchet issue. The bold date, horse head, legends and shield combine to make this the perfect coin for a well chosen type or variety set.
