WOW! Take a look at yourself in the deeply reflective mirrors! Only 1000 Proofs were struck, this is tied for second finest at PCGS with just a single coin finer. Shimmering watery mirrors gleam like a mountain lake. The sunset toning that is dappled about on both sides make it look like a landscape of the sun setting over water. The sharply struck devices show off a snowy white, thick frost that contrasts beautifully against the stunning mirrors. Pristine quality throughout, the eye appeal cannot be beat! PCGS 8, NGC 5, CAC 6. There are five graded PR67+ CAM, of which only a single non-CAC example has ever sold in auction, realizing $7,638 in April 2013. The former Simpson Collection coin, which is the sole finest at PCGS sold in our July 2014 Regency Auction. In 67+ CAM, Collectors Universe lists a $9,500 value and it jumps to $18,000 in PR68 CAM.
