Lot Description

An exceptional quality example of this popular Civil War themed classic commemorative. Pleasing, thick, frosty satin mint luster has a touch of the clearest gold toning that provides depth to the sharply struck devices. The surfaces are satiny smooth and essentially flawless, the eye appeal is excellent. PCGS 358, NGC 230, CAC 94. There are 30 in MS66+ at PCGS. The last one sold in January 2019 for $1,680 and before that the last PCGS/CAC example brought $2,640 in June 2018. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $1,750.
