1818/7 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-101a. Rarity-1. Large 8. MS-61 (NGC). An appealing example with light silver-gray and champagne-gold iridescence to both sides. This popular bold overdate retains ample luster to inviting surfaces that appear smoother in hand than one might expect at the assigned grade level. Sharply defined overall, the denticles are weak at the upper left obverse and reverse due to a trivially off center strike.
