Here is another GEM 77-S Trade dollar offering a classic, old time look. Rich original patina dominates both sides. A vibrant satin bloom, particularly on the reverse gives life to the teal, gold, eggplant, russet, and burnt orange tones. Likely stored in a paper envelope for many years before being certified, this coin was clearly taken care of since it was struck. PCGS 28, NGC 26, CAC 17. The most recent sold in our December 2019 Regency Auction for $7,050 and prior to that one, an example brought $8,100 in September 2019.
