With only two coins graded finer at PCGS in the PL designation, this MS66+ PL is about as high a grade as most collectors can ever own for their sets. A superb luster with a distinctive reflection in the fields blazes a vibrant brilliance across the GEM quality surfaces. Untoned and well struck for a New Orleans dollar, this 04-O has a great eye appeal. PCGS 131, NGC 63, CAC 51. In 66+ PL, there are a baker's dozen graded at PCGS, half a dozen at NGC. The last PCGS/CAC coin sold for $1,293 in January 2017 and before that, one sold in June 2016 for $1,645. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $1,750.
