Lot Description

A very pleasing, lightly worn, CHOICE AU S-294. Deeper, glossy brown patina is evenly distributed over sharply struck and very pleasing quality surfaces on both sides. No serious marks are noted, just a few minor ticks from its brief stay in commerce. Very pleasing for this type which is one of the more difficult to find nice. PCGS 14, NGC 8, CAC 4. The only CAC approved example to ever sell was an NGC-graded coin that brought $3,290 in June 2016. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $3,900 and the CAC CPG value is $5,000.
