1924-S Lincoln Cent. MS-64 RD (PCGS). Deep mint orange, tan, and golden red highlights on matte-like, lustrous surfaces. Only 13 examples of the date have been certified finer by PCGS, none better than MS-65 RD. Far more rare in Choice and Gem grades than its mintage of more than 11.6 million pieces indicates, one of those dates for which the rarity can't be judged by the mintage figure.
