EX COL. E.H.R. GREEN--ERIC P. NEWMAN COLLECTIONS. What a handsome CHOICE Mint State Bust half dollar with a great provenance. A high-end look with a rich coat of iridescent toning in golden-tan, olive, gunmetal, and aqua-teal on both sides, from long term storage in the old envelope. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 27, NGC 23, CAC 8. This coin sold for $4,994 in the November 2013 sale of the Newman Collection. More recently, a PCGS/CAC coin sold for $5,405 in the 2017 FUN auction and the current CU value is $5,500. What a great coin that will be appreciated by any Capped Bust collector! Cert.
