1883 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. Proof-66 (PCGS). Wonderfully original in preservation, both sides are drenched in warm patina comprised of luxurious olive-copper, sandy-gray, medium rose and powder blue shades. Expertly preserved, as well, the surfaces are silky smooth in texture with a virtually pristine appearance in hand. Given that the circulation strike 1883 half dollar is a low mintage affair, this upper end Gem Proof offers an attractive high grade alternative for the discerning collector of Liberty Seated coinage.
