<strong>Obv:</strong> A scroll inscribed LIBERTY crosses a Federal shield, behind which are two crossed poles topped with a liberty cap and eagle. The Latin motto E PLURIBUS UNUM is above, the date 1896 is below, and 13 stars are arranged at the border seven left, six right. <strong>Rev:</strong> A curved olive sprig encloses the denomination 5 CENTS with the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around the border. Semi-reflective in finish beneath a dusting of delicate iridescent in toning in silver gray and powder blue.
