An underrated issue in the series, this Choice AU coin will be at home in either the specialist's holdings or the high-end type set. Both sides sport wispy blemishes and a rich yellow-gold hue, the designs support a light amount of rub. There is a tiny milling mark below the 3 on the reverse. Only 2,600 threes were struck for circulation in 1867.
