Lot Description

1903 Barber Half Dollar. Proof-66 * (NGC). CAC. Fully brilliant with strong frost on the devices and well mirrored fields but not quite enough depth to earn the Cameo designation, but high enough eye appeal to win a "*" from NGC, and one of just 3 examples at this grade level to do so. Undisturbed frost on Liberty's cheek and neck aside from the faintest wipe lines, with the mirror fields of outstanding quality. No hint of toning, and a delight to examine. Mintage of 755 pieces only, this one of the top ten percent or so of those.
