1864 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-101. MS-65 (PCGS). CAC. This example displays excellent eye appeal with satiny silver hues enhanced by russet-gold and teal around the rims and devices. Furthermore the surfaces are as smooth as one could hope, with virtually no bagmarks or nicks present. The bold strike and elegant toning combine to make this piece simply gorgeous. It is time well spent to linger over the quality here, as few Liberty Seated half dollars are so handsome. PCGS# 6311. Provenance: From the Richard Jewell Collection.
