What a GORGEOUS and totally original GEM! While not a rare date, the 63-D is challenging with the FBL designation this fine, and VERY RARE any finer. The present coin clearly was in an old mint set or collector envelope, where the GEM surfaces acquired a very sultry tangerine-gold color with neon lemon, deeper gold, and soft clover accents. We rate the color a 9+ on our 10-point scale. The strike is complete and the bold luster bursts through the color beautifully giving this coin an AMAZING look. PCGS 154, NGC 55, CAC 18.
