1861 Liberty Head Half Eagle. MS-62+ (PCGS). CAC. A wonderfully original and appealing example of this popular Civil War date. Rich honey-gold color and a tasteful amount of old dirt caked into some of the details. Modest bag marks are seen as befits the grade and issue, but no individual mark is deep or troublesome and the overall appearance of the surfaces is far above average. PCGS# 8288. NGC ID: 25VK.
