- Lot Description
- Tied for second FINEST graded at PCGS! Simply put, this coin is virtually perfect! The quality is beyond SUPERB! A narrow band of iridescent rainbow toning frames both sides of this INTENSELY LUSTROUS example. The strike is complete and bold; the obverse eagle projects a powerful presence, standing out boldly from the pearly-lustrous fields. The details are very boldly struck up and every single detail of the very intricate reverse design is crisply rendered. The eye appeal is incredible! PCGS 19, NGC 28, CAC 9. The last one sold in April 2015--that was eight years ago! The current CAC CPG value is $4,800 and the PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $5,000. There is just a single example finer at PCGS and that coin has yet to sell in auction. This AMAZING Texas will bring a very strong bid when the hammer falls. Good luck. Cert.
