1814/3 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-101a. Rarity-2. EF-40 (PCGS). Warm steel gray patina with iridescent highlights of reddish-apricot and pale lilac. This coin is actually an intermediate die state between O-101 and O-101a, the obverse cracks sharp but the reverse perfect. Provenance: From the E. Horatio Morgan Collection.
