1866 Two-Cent Piece. Proof-66 BN (NGC). CAC. Lovely glossy-brown patina blankets both sides of this boldly patinated and pleasingly original Gem. More direct angles also reveal faint lilac and rose undertones, as well as allow ready appreciation of a modestly reflective finish. Fully struck and expertly preserved for this third year proof two-cent issue with an estimated mintage of 725+ coins.
