1723 Rosa Americana Penny. Martin 2.7-Eb.3, W-1278. Rarity-4. AU-53 (PCGS). 127.6 grains. Nicer planchet quality than commonly seen with traces of brass tucked into the recesses of the design while the open areas and upper devices are dark brown. Well centered and struck for this issue, and the surfaces are reasonably attractive after light circulation.
