Lot Description

1875 Round 50 Cents. BG-1057. Rarity-5+. Indian Head. MS-65 DPL (NGC). This is the only Deep Prooflike coin graded of this variety, furthermore it is the only gem graded in any designation. Six others have been certified by NGC in lower grades of mint state. A sparkling jewel with fully reflective fields that offset the frosted devices. No handling issues are apparent with a strong loupe and moderate die clashing is present. The reverse die is rotated about 45 degrees counter clockwise. Apparently the finest known of this variety and a splendid coin for the specialist.
